so the "white screen and then it closes itself" thing is a known issue that we don't know how to fix unfortunately

the reason the old installer failed here is because version 3472 doesn't actually exist, but the old installer is too outdated to know that (don't ask 
)
try using 3471, or some newer version it probably doesn't matter that much
