Whenever multiplayer is added a chess board should be added to.

I meant one that actually functioned.

Main gripe I have with Mojang is they add neat looking stuff into Minecraft, but not anything is functionally cool and adds significantly to the gameplay. I really don't want CyubeVR to be given the same treatment.

I agree, this game feels like it can have more to it than just blocks and stuff especially being a VR game

What would make more sense is to have whatever block/scripting API’s sbce adds be flexible enough to define custom behavior so someone can make a chess mod themselves

That should be added, but I feel like a chess board would fit the theme of the base game very well.
