In all seriousness, just go after chickens. A ptera can run fast enough to catch a chicken and will give you the B diet, only go after a rabbit if it is already dead or trapped against a rock/tree. Also the pteros are apparently broken right now so for the Y diet go after turtles or tacos

With rabbits and chickens it’s rough, you can lure them into rocks or water(best way) but be careful it’s super dangerous. As for the pterodactyls, if you carry food in your mouth for a while (literally any piece of meat) they will spawn on you and bite you.. actually hurt you until you drop the food and then they’ll continue to eat it. When they’re on the ground eating that’s when you go down, land and peck at them until they die.

• side note, pterodactyls are bugged and have been for months. They’re invisible so you’ll have food randomly vanish on you

If you desperately want Y diet you can get the cannibal mutation and eat other PTs
