Laying down, and having at least s and 3 dot diet is a faster heal. There are muts that help heal too. A perfect diet would be the absolute best. But that can be difficult at times as a cera because there's no AI that give your 3 dots.

The red filler behind your stomach is your bacteria tank. Ceras give a nasty bite, you eat rotten meat and it fills that tank. When you bite, it'll dose the bacteria into the opponent. With enough bacteria bites on them, they will get vomit sickness.

No... unfortunately it's random spawns. Dont pick "reasorption" for croc either. It's a bugged trait. Doesn't work on croc. You could go for the salt water mut but it's tedious. But it'll allow you to go travel via ocean. Tho there's little food.
