It's a public discord anyone can join- Including cheaters. There's a reason we ask the reports are made the way the pins say. Given we've been doing this for... several years at this point, we can say with confidence, it does make a difference.

Either way, admin tools exist and we rarely need the locations from the players to begin with. Any time we do, we reach out. Otherwise, don't post it.

Players post the location so that they can avoid that location, as we experience hackers multiple times and have had a 99.9% success rate of them not being banned. We know of an avid hacker who has been hacking on this game for months and mentioned multiple times and he is still rampant.

This is a massive misconception right here- while a popular anticheat can help against common types of cheats, its not perfect. The majority are tailored to a specific game, and also oftentimes nonfunctional in another, even if they're in the same engine. Fortnite's anticheat won't inherently work here.

Legacy also had a signifigantly smaller player base, and the game was much less well known. At least proportionally to the players, this isn't all that out of the ordinary. It's not so much that cheating is more common, but that the playerbase is more concentrated to official servers by way of them being the default to join immediately.

If someone's looking to cheat, they're not going to do it on a dead community server where they might instantly be banned for not reading a mile long rule book.
