It had no right to have survived that many Ceras at it's size. Looked like 20% vs 3 FG Ceras

I was trying to tell the Trike 'lad, you need to LEAVE' but obviously didn't speak Dilo biting very well.

It was scared into a defensive spot by me.

I think it was getting the idea when I left but it was a bit late, Ceras came.

Jumped in to try and help, got hurt left to heal up and came back to surprise one.

I was gone before they could stop me putting venom into em, so one dropped.

The Trike spamming calls let me get basically directly on top of them unnoticed by using the noise + bushes for cover.

Maybe... but personally the Trike update felt more like a downgrade. AI spawns got fixed before it and were very plentiful, so players could be found across the map nearly, North Lake kinda became the second hotspot due to lots of food for herbivores and had a variety of AI for carnivores in high quantities.

North Lake is now dead tho. They seem to have killed like 95% of the spawns there.

Unfortunate you're growing one nowadays, before the Trike Update they were ALOT less painful to grow since they had actual movement speed. They're slow as hell now.

but as a baby yeah it definitely felt pretty bad

It is fun, but god, it's even getting anywhere growth wise before you don't feel slow as a snail, and it feels highly unneccessary to be so god awfully slow on top of being weak with sluggish attacks

Half the reason it's given somewhat sluggish attack speed (which thankfully is alot better now at the very least so getting to FG now gets you a fairly better maia to play) was cause you can chase down and pretty much just shrug off attacks most smaller dinos can toss out

So you have alot of freedom to either get out of there, or choose to fight

Kinda a bit like a Carno I suppose in that regard
