Fatal error is a generic error message for any kind of error that causes the game to have to close. Just like when you don't safe log, going out of a server for any reason means your creature stays in game for a few minutes. During such time, anything can happen- Another player killing you, starvation, dehydration etc

Depending on how long you were connecting for, you likely were already in. When you're connecting, it's loading your info and putting you back in the game. It doesn't take long at all for the server to do that, and the vast majority of games do often use a little bit of trickery to hide you loading in when you can't move or make actions yet

North Lake is basically dead 24/7 they seem to have killed all the patrol and AI spawns there.

Fish spawns are basically gone, and with fish being basically gone has almost made crocs extinct now, and made Ptera and Herrera have a much harder time starting out, which for Herrera is particularly bad due to poor movement speed at fresh spawn.

AI spawns seem very particular, goats have practically gone extinct for some reason for example but you can find plenty of boar, deer, rabbit, chicken, taco, etc but only in certain areas with way less frequency

Troodon has become unbearably slow at fresh spawn so despite becoming alot better at FG. It's now a painful chore to get there due to it being so slow, weak and frail. (It also lost boar from it's diet for some reason so have fun with getting dot diet)

Maia has also becomes stupidly slow at fresh spawn, at like 55% growth you're still slower then a Cera even in bipedal mode.

Deers can attack now, and young deer and boar are gone, making it much harder for carnivores starting out. The lack of goats also means now basically all three of the big land AI have their own issues for young carnivores.

Trike is so bustedly strong it can erase a stego in like a instant so it's just stego+ have fun with that (oh and it's immune to croc grabs even while swimming due to being able to become so heavy it goes past the 75% weight grab limit)

Fair. I wasn’t really hurt like at all til being knocked over, but couldn’t really do anything obviously by that point beyond hoping a second attack wouldn’t come or land before I could just leave and run off into the sunset.

For next time, just remember you don’t need to sit in stance/guard. Being able to alt attack around yourself makes a lot harder for flanking to do anything.

No, the little previews are saved as files in the Appdata directory for the game

The account's actual data should be fine on each server but the preview won't be updated until you log into the server itself

Unless they changed something recently. Damage muts are rather specific in what they effect. AI have also had health changes. Deers for example have more health for certain.
