That is a good point

Carnivore players dont get patrol zones, they do see patrol zones for nearby herbivore players that are on their diet list. If its all working correctly you should either find a player that you can eat or AI. That said carnivores still get the short end of the stick because they cant generate patrol zones on their own, I think thats why you dont just bump into AI animals, they just arent on the map without having players in the area first. Migration zones are the same obv just larger and in pre-set areas.
