So I am aware I'm responding to a day-old message but it's as good an excuse as any for me to share my current thoughts on trike lol.

Trike has felt obscenely strong for me so far, very much like the caliber of playable it's meant to be (aka it's not exactly healthy for the game cause it just decimates everything else but oh well). I (mostly) 1v7'd a cera megapack yesterday, got a double kill with a well-placed alt attack, flipped and thrashed two others, and killed another one of them a couple hours later when they came back as a group of 3. Trike's biggest weakness, however, is def smaller, more agile predators like troodons, dilos and omnis when you're not full sized, but a big part of trike's strength is its versatility. Up against a giant death-horde of ceras? Take an aggressive stance at first, and channel your inner Dibble by Tokyo-drifting all over the place and rampage around trying to do as much damage as possible. That giant death-horde eventually brings you down to orange or lower, or you're up against a giant of troodons or omnis? Back your bum up to a cliff or river and suddenly pouncers (or ceras) have to decide between literally killing themselves or just not bothering with the effort. It's the ability to switch tactics on the fly in a way that best suits what you need that imo makes Trike an ABSOLUTE terror

I was survived an omni pack a couple days ago while growing (albeit it was a close one, ggs to them if they remember me!) by utilising that flexibility, hunkering my back to a big ol' rock wall when I needed to be on the defense and lashing out when I saw any opportunities

I believe I was 20-30%? I don't entirely recall the growth percentage, it was whatever growth you're at when your trike is clocking in at ~3 tons

Most of its attacks may be slow on their own, but the drifting can actually let you redirect the trajectory of your offensive attacks (namely, the running flip/headswing) very effectively

If you're standing still in the open trying to do nothing but look for lucky alt-attacks on troodons you'll have a rough time because those attacks are indeed slow, but I can give people a tip for landing those alt-attacks against ceras at least! If you see a cera going in to attack your backside from the side (looking to bite your back and then keep running roughly straight to escape your reach: think of ceras doing strafing attacks on the head of a teno or stego but on your trike's butt), try and alt-attack behind you, but in the opposite direction of where they currently are, and I find you get a ton of success with it!
