The other three are only a problem if they surprise/ambush you but Croc and Herrera are basically designed for it.

Carno is only one to really worry about being run down, and Omni while not able to keep up. It only needs to pounce you once and that's GG if weighs more then you. (Just assume they always do unless they're very very small in comparison) and they can jump so they'll be able to reach you in places Carnos couldn't

Cause they're missing a feature that's being tested in hordetest.

You can make it a bit more bearable if you carefully manage your stam usage though, if you need to ascend for example, hit the button in time with your wings going down rather then just holding it down.

The swamp is often pretty rough as a croc, fish spawns seem pretty inconsistent there. Best bet is to start travelling towards delta or find one of the wide open lake-like parts of swamp since those seem best for fish.

Was disappointing I didn’t get to kill them when I knew they were so close to dying, but either way I won the fight technically and I can’t say I care about about losing my Carno.

I doubt it was boredom though on the Cera’s part. I saved them like 15 or 20 minutes before that as they were getting their ass handed to them by 6 or 7 Pachies.

Me and some random chill Omni jumped in to help them. Although that unfortunately costed the Omni it’s life cause of the Cera’s poor aim, and I honestly was hurt more by the Cera then the Pachies.

It's a record function, you'll see a little cam in top left when you hit it, if you don't stop it tho it will record your entire session on the server which is harder to fast forward through to find what your after, but im sure heaps of peopel record each and every play session just in case.

I tend to pop it on before engaging anything and then pop it off after.

Cera and dibble from my experience/memory never 'slow down' as they age. They only get faster as they get older. So dibbles that are more grown % will overtake Ceras.

The spawns for dibbles are all areas often quite dangerous being they only spawn in south plains, highlands and west rail.

Add onto the fact they take quite awhile to grow and get faster, and leaves them in a pretty rough situation as a fresh spawn.

Interesting. I've run into this group before who randomly cannied me. (They didn't even say anything nor did I before they started chasing me which was very obviously another Omni) When I came back after dying and returned the favour. The one I pinned somehow killed me.

They later put me onto a KOS list marked down as cannibal and mixpacker (and the later of which implies they've been watching me at some other point as during that whole incident. I hadn't ever been with anyone else)

I have run into them again after this more recently but that interaction was more normal outside of them demanding me to attack a Teno to 'prove myself' and to be removed from the KOS list. (Something I hadn't been interested in doing considering the Teno had been nice and helped me and another Omni of theirs by letting us know where bodies were for food)

Dilos ended up interrupting that though and I pretty much ended up just being a distraction for em to get the hell outta there.

Gotta love playing a duo deino pack for 6 hours just to end up having to cannibalise the other after they die of starvation because the spawns are utter dogwater! Highly advise anyone to not play deino until they fix the god damn swamp spawns like theyve already claimed to have done
