I would recommend Galli. You won't be able to fight much but Galli is very fast and can outrun basically everything but a Carno. If you encounter a Carno, just try to get up on something high and you'll be good though. They can't jump. Galli can.

Galli is a omnivore but omnivores basically just play like herbivores for the most part anyway

galli is best and as charmed said its a omnivore

when you go in, press Q this will bring up your scent then run to the 2 trees on that blue bar that comes up at the top of ya screen there you will find these red mushrooms which give diets. around 20% grown you would want to go to the footsteps on the same blue bar and gain your diets there. the diets you have are dots, lines and S all giving different buffs
