It mostly just lacks any notable weakness, while also having strengths, leaving very little to exploit while all maintaining it's strengths.

Doesn't help either it's defence thing around corpses makes combat with them very awkward when involving more then 1v1 since anyone dying in a fight gives a edge in the fight for the Cera... which then comboed with gastro makes for a even more uneven match up simply from someone dying.

Vomit meanwhile is just insult to injury.

I feel like a good way to start for Cera is just inverting how the vomit mechanic works.

Rather then being full makes it harder to vomit, being empty makes it harder to vomit since that naturally leads into making it happen less in a fight after the first vomit.

Cause it seems a bit backwards that being full makes it harder for you to vomit compared to being empty, particularly since that means once they get that first vomit on you.
