My partner and I always say it’s really stupid they didn’t connect all the waterways on the map it makes living life as a deino and travelling to better spots when you get too big to barely feed yourself a living nightmare (especially if you get really awful spawns) So slow on land and water goes down so fast 🥲 which I understand but it just makes deino life very miserable

Tbh I sorta get why it's not all connected and think it's okay... the problem is water drain and croc movement speed for the gaps between them all is wayyy too much, particularly when all it takes is one Stego stumbling across you at the same time for it to be GG if they wish it so (which they will 99% of the time)

Yeah that is true as well, it definitely comes down to water drain and movement speed and yeah the gaps are so far. On the map it’s like yeah might be able to get there then you start walking and it’s just pray you survive haha

Honestly I can see croc life getting even more miserable with Trike coming around. Sure it's a big ass meal but it's also another thing which crocs can't reasonably kill and even more so then Stego where at least if they swim. You can grab them, but Trike? It weighs so much you can't even do that

They can literally run into the water and try to chase you in the water if they so wish even if it's a dumb move.

Yeah 9.5 tons is super heavy and yeah a croc won’t even be able to grab a trike when it’s swimming because it’s too heavy as a FG. I can definitely see deino life getting harder and more miserable as more apexes come along and especially trike now as you said 🥲 I’m not a croc main for the very reasons we’ve talked about it’s very difficult so I have a newfound respect for croc mains especially now I’m trying to grow one for the first time.

Honestly I wouldn't be surprised to see aquatic based Trike builds simply for that fact. You can just run into water to escape stuff and a croc is probably gonna go for whatever tries to chase you simply cause they can't grab you.

Hypsi imo is something that kinda needs quite a bit of working on.

• Climb mechanic to be added for fun & movement
• Spit mechanic needs to be enhanced to actually be useful in some form.
• Incentive to hunt them by some form of stat boost since they provide very little food.
• Group mechanic for damage perhaps? Hypsi still can't exactly fight anything and being in a group attracts attention. One idea I had was increasing the damage of the spit x number in group.

Indeed, and sorta the idea. Hypsi feels like something that should want to herd together but right now it's a detriment to do so.

It also means they could actually have some ability to fight back/protect when nesting and considering spit is ranged. Opens up some combat between Hypsi vs Ptera or Hypsi vs Herrera in trees.

you can, at the moment in the official servers you just have to agree to meet up somewhere or try get the same spawn (which is randomised) you can press tab and on the top right in game and it'll show your coordinates, you click them to copy them then you can use a third party map called VulnonaMap and make sure it's on gateway and you're in the evrima branch (https://vulnona.com/game/map/) and paste your coordinates into the top left part of the map where it says location to figure out where you are. They are currently testing spawn codes in the Hordetesting servers which will make grouping up with friends a lot easier so they should be coming next major update to the evrima branch.

It's pretty likely the stego was cheating. He may not have been FG and was running photosynthetic tissue for the 5% speed boost. There's a small window in which a stego can beat a dibble in a footrace
