Tbh. I dunno how the PvP aspect is even really enjoyed considering it's rarely ever fair. Be it because of species, growth or simply having a group.

Even with that factored out. You still got the actual combat itself feeling wonky with hitboxes even if it doesn't get ruined by someone just straight up using cheats.

And this doesn't even touch or mention mutations considering by picking those for survival. You're giving up combat potential, or how being nested gives bonus mutations

Evrima mostly works because people tend to choose to congregate at hotspots to get action, if all herbivores (including AI) acted realistically and hid in all the corners of the map you'd starve every time

It's a pretty map and I like a lot of the design elements but it works so much better in the community servers with 200 player counts, feels like it was designed for that
