The ai last night was on steroids though, i was flying, and was often flying over groups of 6+ ai

I was hanging out at mudflats and turtles and crabs and tacos were spawning, they were just invisible. Like they'd either turn invisible just after we spotted them or they'd spawn invisible, and cuz turtles don't make any sound it just left us with no food

Personally I just like when I can hang out with a group no matter what the species is. It's fun to have positive experiences with other human beings. I don't play the isle for combat

Friends just chilling around as a mix pack seems okay, just playing it as a social hang out. Roaming around in a mix pack looking for fights is a bit more iffy

I'll only ever attack if the group is getting attacked, even then it's one or two swoops and I either die or literally don't hit anything. It's more like moral support

I still found it funny when I followed two adult maias who wanted to nest as like just under 40% stego that when 3 Ceras attacked it's the two Maias that died and the Stego the Ceras were avoiding at first.

yeah thats fair, imo i feel that a lot of the issue is around what fiz said, feels lame when "friendly" only to get blindsided, i feel that never really happens with carni/carni, only herbi/carni

Yeah half of my deaths ealry on learning were people betraying me as same species after being nice and letting other herb/carni kill me while they watched and then walked off together

It got pretty annoying

I feel like that's less a mixpacking issue and more of a canni + ahole issue

I've been betrayed plenty of times with no mixpacking involved lol

there are some mixpacks where I will literally just stand still and let them kill me so they can't conceivably get any fun out of it at all

herbi/herbi mixpacking is way better when it’s only a few of them. not much point in playing as a carni if everyone is protected by everyone else in the game

Yeah there's quite a few toxic players to be fair...

Also why when it comes to mixpacking. I think there's a big difference between randomly running into one another and trusting one another then you're literally talking with the person outside of the game.
