the symbol on your map with the feet is migration zone, the one with the eyes is a patrol zone, the point in your compass that points up is north, pointing down is south.

mig zone is a larger area of food for herbivores so you go there as a carnivore and you will likely find herbivores, patrol zones are localised smaller mig zones which may only have one herbi in it.
