Herra is torture, slow af when young, with damage so low you cant kill AI by pouncing on them, so you have to resort to fish unless you miraculously spawn in South or Highlands. But fish don't spawn for whatever reason

I've only just started and I have to say I've had a hard time finding fish having flown over every waterway I could find

they take a little time to spawn in, quickly moving down rivers usually doesnt give it enough time to spawn, unless there's already people in the area and their presence has allowed them to spawn

yes, hold down Q for long enough and you'll have an area range around you showing where edible things are, a light sniff (short period holding Q) is enough to show a migration or patrol zone, indicated by (.:' ':.) and (o o) where the .:' is footprints and o's are eyes

theres a couple maps you can use, theres one that shows you where some AI usually spawn

I found one that lets you find your location with the coords in clipboard
