So from what I can tell AU used to have AU1, AU2 and AU3, when they did the renaming to show closer to where the server was hosted they updated all the server names. I think AU2 became AS1 and AU3 became AS2. The AU2 and 3 servers always had a higher ping for me than AU1. make sense
