I have my stegs on other servers where I like to chill, I see steg more as my chill out and chat to players dino, always had a great time with steg (except the hackers) and like the change of pace, but teno? Nah teno is my boo for sure, nicer pace, good attacks, overall my fave to play. I don't mind galli and hypsi every once in a while too, and the occasional herra or raptor

If you have just installed The Isle, it'll be in legacy version. Exit the game and right click in steam, and under properties you need to select the Evrima open beta. It'll have another download of a few gigs and that should get you to the servers list

So the server's not crashing, but as a career deino player, I can't seem to keep my deino alive. I've been as close to migration zone as I can get my fatty, but there's not a single fish (or little fish) in the river and lake I'm stuck in. Is my only option to go up on land in the migration zone and hope to catch someone fully unawares?? >_>
I've never had that problem before, ususally there are at least elite fish somewhere nearby! For the past 3 hours of her life tho.. not one elite fish.

last night when I was setting up my community server, in admin it shows you the AI spawned, at first spawn the AI was 0, after 3 mins or so of standing around, still 0, soon as I ran down the hill about 200m or so they started to spawn. I ran down a hill of about 300m to a beach and by the time I got to the beach there were 17 AI spawned around me

I saw a chicken and a heard a pig, so they def do spawn, just have to move around and I guess hotspots for dinos killing AI causes a drop in AI numbers to get people moving around more.

The only thing I dislike about The Isle is that the game guides tell you, for example, as a mid-growth croc to only attempt dinos under your weight, but this causes issues with juvi's bothering to play, especially to herb as they CBF spending all those hours to be chomped.
The second thing I hate, it seems for example a fully grown Spino vs say an adult raptor is almost a one-hit kill. You run at it from ambush, attack ones, and with one click the death screen appears. I wish the damage was far more balanced so fights lasted longer. Yes, this might increase packing to amplify the damage, but I think you could counter this by causing both dinos to get a stam buff similar to Adrenaline during that fight so they can have a more enjoyable fight. Yes, Spino is going to win most time due to sheer size/strength/defense, etc but at least it won't be over in 1 split second after hours of surviving, growing, and stalking.
