Generally that happens when they don't delete the config folder between branch swaps. Anecdotally I've seen a 50/50 for better or worse performance

Well yeah. I don't have a problem with running the game. I get like 80 to 100 on average but with the latest patch, it's just going all over the place. Whatever they did, it wasn't this rough before the patch.

Before, all I had to do for my vram to have a little freedom of like 2 gb was turning the textures to low. Now it's just using all of it as if I'm running everything on epic.

The anticheat and other detection methods are constantly being worked on, but fighting against hacks is an endless cycle of updating the anticheat, then hacks updating, then updating the anticheat again and again, etc

regrows havent been a thing since a little bit before the Elder update. for one, people began abusing the fact they could get regrows (such as lying for them, refusing to get on so the admins actually could regrow them, etc) alongside the fact Admins on servers can not return entombs/prime elder individuals due to how the admin panel currently works
