No. We don't do regrows anymore due to issues since the elder update- We cannot restore elders or entombed dinosaurs at all, and we will not do server rollbacks to do so like some unofficials might. Either way when we did do regrows, very few players cooperated with us to actually do them.

That is far more complex than you think it is, and expensive, and not even guaranteed to work. Anticheats are basically just a wide net to catch common cheats, and don't actually prevent new cheats, hence it being an arm's race.

You can't blame the developers for the fact that people behave that way and buy or use cheats; integrating a functioning anti-cheat (and by that I mean a system that can search for cheats on its own and doesn't first need to be supplied with information to know what to look for) into the game could simply be difficult to nearly impossible due to many requirements.

Unofficials can do things we don't because they're often running with far less players. An unofficial is lucky if it can even have 50 regular players, officials deal with thousands. On top of using custom bots, they might be using different configurations than we do here that make things easier or don't run into the same issues officials might.

Personally, I have insane patience and am not terribly upset if/when I lose a dino to something I deem unfair or dumb. But I shrug it off and move on. If I start feeling too salty I go do something else till I feel like coming back.

I completely understand other people are much more emotionally invested in their dinosaurs and time spent working toward them. If that happens to be you, playing a game that's actively being developed and nowhere near complete which is guarenteed to have disruptions up to and as severe as losing all progress and occasionally being completely unplayable may not be for you. In that case I recommend playing unofficial servers that have a "dinosaur locker" system in their discord or waiting for the game to reach a more stable/finished state.

For current examples, last year there was a hack that was used to let certain dinos move and dodge very easy and you could see the hack being used because the dino would slide around unnaturally.
That hack got fixed by the devs and hackers couldn't use it anymore.
Until this week apparently, as I've seen reports of people using a similar hack again.

Best explanation is the game is still deep in development and it looks like the servers are still not stable after being updated to handle double the load. In the last auto restart many people's dinosaurs saves got wiped likely because of some issue that's lingering from the server fixes.

• official servers are wiping some player data on restarts and crashes
• unofficials are unaffected so it's a server issue not a game issue
• devs are working on a fix

Best bet is to always safe log and wait for the game to take you to the main menu on its own. Quick logging or exiting before the game logs you out via safe log increases your chances of losing progress in general

Quite the opposite, high performance CPUs are having a conflict with the game. Primarily Ryzen 7 ones

The game seems to get confused with a high ammount of cores available and distrubutes resorce wrong, overloading cores and eventually causing them to "lock" essentially breaking the core

It's only a small selection of CPUs that are affected, so most won't experience the problem, which explains why it didn't come up during QA tests

Quite a bit recently though not normally often. Theyers just been a lot of problems with the servers latly due to a rapid increase of players stressing the servers. It's a pain to have progress removed, but in the long run these updates will help it all run more smoothly

All dinos for everyone where deleted, there was a large update to the servers, I'd say it's happening more then often currently, unofficals tend not to be as affected so for long term gameplay id say use unofficials, at least untill the devs have finished with all the patches!

Not everyday mate but i advice you not to grow a rex on officials cuz there are too many cheaters, even the wipes, roll backs and so on. It's ALL risk almost no gain

i like the models of the dino's i dont persé like the bush bush, i find that people with low standard pcs cant play the game. (i have a 4090 and i play on low for better fps) pvp. i have to get used to all the attacks obviously since it iis way more sophisticated than legacy, but legacy had a different vibe for me.

i could solo any dino in that game, and knew every dino's broken hitbox etc. so yes evrima pvp is a challenge. but mostly because i dont know other dino's hitboxes etc. since i love playing rex (favo dino irl). i was kinda focused to play that.. 2 whipes 60%. but i played a cera 2 days ago prime, and a stego. totally different mechanics and strategy's its fun

I recommend playing PT (the flying dino), will help you overlook and understand the map a little more!

You know another good way would be playing beipi, following the waterways around to learn the map as they pass through all the biomes and you're always gonna be near a river

yeah true, havnt played that one, i got stego, rex, cera, troodon, and allo. but i use the vulnona map, i can press where all the food i need spawns, and all the places u need to check to become a prime. very handy i would say for new players.

Beipi Is really funny, get to be a little goofy duck and most the deino won't even touch you as they see you as being useful. I recommend playing it at least once!
