Aye, i remember having two trikes that came up to north lake, they would kill all the NPCs around and call me out of the water to collect, escorting me too it. They where nesting up there and where happy to have the protected water in return. Long story short we ended up with over 10 happy, full deinos growing in the lake together, they all slowly went down stream once they felt safe enough and I stayed up In the lake to help all the new spawns, was good fun :3

And then there's the rule with no matter how hungry i never attack hypsi or beipi, normally letting them follow me around as companions, i dont think anyone would be mad about a mix pack if its those little guys with ya

It isn't about "Dino's" it's about Data. Whatever service you provide, typically you have backups for if thing's go wrong. Which is why what that chap said, doesn't count for anything.

You all paid for the game, so you're paying for a service. That money should go to development and server hosting. Which it does ( I hope ) and in turn, issues like this should be fixed fairly quickly.

I, and other admins, don't have any control over things like providers or backend decisions, but feedback like this does get passed along and the team is aware of the problems. If you run into specific issues, reporting them helps a lot too - it all adds up and makes it easier to solve these sort of things

My concern is primarily that a lot of these problems seem to be becoming more frequent as more and more people join the game. With the ammount of coverage the isle is getting and the large ammount of youtubers and streamers starting to get involved its safe to say the growth is and will continue to snowball.
This is a good thing ultimately, but first impressions matter a great deal, and with the servers already struggling something clearly needs sorting. Phase 3 is only going to fan these flames further too. I want the isle to do well, there's so much potential here

Yeah I mean that’s a fair concern to have honestly, so I get where you're coming from. While the growth is great for the game, you're right that it can put extra strain on things, especially with bigger updates on the way.

We'll definitely keep passing this kind of feedback along - people wanting the game to succeed and improve is a good thing. Hopefully the team is able to get things in a better place as the player base keeps growing, it's just a lot at the moment lol

Aye, my view is delaying phase 3 to secure the servers and get things ready for the influx would be the move here. It wouldn't suprise me if we hit peaks of 25k or higher once that drops. We have gone from peaks of 12k at the start of the week to 18k now, when i joined a few weeks ago it was only at 7k peaks.

If they go ahead with phase 3 before fixing the server problems and securing things for the large increase in players it will create, it will do serious damage to the game long term. If they do however take the time to shore things up before hand, then the only direction is up for this game. As in the normal server reset where it gives you the notifsction? I'm not 100% sure, though generally it's advised you let the dino sleep out (press H then hold H to start the sleep countdown) once the countdown is done your dino is considered "safe" and the game will log out of the server, at that point you can close the game

i've been playing on new pangaea for a bit, they got a nice admin team there. i think any unofficial with simple rules is decent enough to play on really. i currently have been enjoying bosch island for the prox chat which has been fairly fun and entertaining for the most part

i don't like too many rules in servers. as long as there's no mixpacking/overpacking, it's good to me
