i have a friend that started the isle a few days ago. we just played together and after one hour he asked me about cheats in this game. i told him i have no clue about cheats in the isle. 10 minutes later he told me he found some cheap providers. i mean if its so easy, nearly everybody can cheat.

Sometimes servers come down due to the developers needing them for a specific purpose, or outages with a server host in that region. I can't really say why some servers are down atm, but as soon as whatever is going on is resolved, they'll come back up.

Less experience in isle but I've seen people bragging about wallhacks and autoaim in CS. And since vac is just BAD they get invincible and farm items for money 🤷🏼

It's more complicated than that. No anticheat is perfect or works forever, but anticheats are more of a broad net to catch common cheats- one that works in another game won't necessarily work here, because cheats are almost always tailor made to the specific game they're being used in. It's not the sole measure being used to deter cheats though, the primary way is simply making the game in a way that the cheats dont function

Regrows was something we did in the past, however we ran into several issues with it. Chief of all being we can't give you back an entombed dinosaur or an elder, but also that the vast majority of players would not cooperate with us to do so. We can't do anything without evidence, your in game name, your server, and that player being on at the same time as an admin.

Sadly out of mayber every 30 requests for a regrow, maybe one player would be able to get one.

I've now played this game for 60 hours over the last two weeks. Mainly played a Deino. The game isn't easy to navagate especially in the early stage. Why it's not clear that you need to download the updated game is crazy to me. Why would anyone expect the non educated to the game new customer to know this is this the case... regardless we move on. It feels like a game most of the time trying to log into a server. Either you get booted for over population or you get spammed with the classic "Data Aquisition Failed" it's relentless. I've genuinly spent 30 mins trying to log in just to see how long it takes whilst having a youtube video playing that teaches me how the game works because there's nothing of that sort in the game. Again, we move on. You get into the game. The playing models look great. You scan the area you spawn in and it looks good. Things are looking up. You move the dino. It staggers for ages. FPS is good, Ping is good. But you bounce around for ages. It clears. Time to eat. You see some fish. 20 meters in the air that you can't interact with... It's ok there will be more. But that's not true either. You pick a flying class to see if they can eat the clearly bugged fish. They can't either... what's the point. Most of the things you need to eat just don't exist for much of the life cycle. I've only ever seen a bull frog once in the 60 hours and at that point I was 6 tonnes and I didn't matter. Having spent lots of hours searching for them before again as a mini game it really annoyed me. The general bugs are crazy. How can you own and run a game that the 1st victory for the user is actually getting in to the game and past "Data Acquisition Failed" . On a positive note this discord has been brilliant and positive for questions and optimism.
