I get that, yeah… I’m not saying Herra shouldn’t be able to kill anything, just that maybe we could talk about how to make fights between mid-tier dinos a bit fairer. Not necessarily longer, just not instantly over.
I actually died twice today. Once from a single jump bite where I bled out from 100percent to 0percent after running away for barely 8 seconds and joining my mates to rest (even with bleed resistance mutation), and an hour ago from a one-shot head hit in the middle of the woods. It just feels a bit extreme for a full-grown Omni to go down that fast.
Realistically, a Herra would latch and deal damage over time, kind of like Omni does, not just one bite that completely drains you. I get that if a Herra gets caught, it’s basically in trouble, it’s smaller than most predators and vulnerable to things like Raptor jumps. But it also has natural advantages, like trees for escape and mobility, which are literally everywhere on the map. That makes its ability to one-shot or quickly bleed out mid-tier dinos feel unbalanced at times.
I think it’d be good to have an open convo about this, not to nerf Herras into the ground, but to find a middle ground where mid-tier creatures like Omni, Dilo, and Carno all have some survival chance against each other. Not every fight needs to be long, but fair fights would make gameplay way more fun and balanced for everyone.
Between the mid-tiers, it’s usually pretty balanced… until a Herra shows up. Then it feels really unfair.

It would be a thousand times better if you could report a cheater directly here on Discord, where you could prove who the cheater is with a screenshot or by pressing F2 or nvidia.... that way lots of people, if they happen to run into them, could still report where they are and what they’re doing. It wouldn’t be much effort to set up two Discord channels for this. At least people would see that the admins are actually doing something, and your dinos would be returned. I think people would take the whole thing more seriously if they actually saw something being done against cheaters. And I don’t get this nonsense either, can’t the cheater’s location and name be released? That would be ideal, so you could at least avoid that person from afar.

yes! low population on server = you get multiple waves of elite fish if you find yourself in some particular spots. Tested very often, and that's how I get my salt water croc to a beach very reliable without fail

so the situation is this...... when we grow (we cant even grow because of the lags and high ping) we just die after 6 hours of surviving and getting a rex just at 50% because of a bug. Myself just died 2 times at 50% because of a sparring bug nice guyssssss. then the other time i just log into the game and fall trough the cliff i logged out and die again. But even when i get a rex above 60%, it takes only 5 minutes for 3 adult white rexes come to me with esp and just destroy me. and even if i grow on the edge of the map and get elder then the server gets a update and the rex is away????? WHAT? so dont get me wrong i understand that its still hordtest and they are testing everything but still when i just want to play other dino than rex like utha i still get killed by pachys with also esp hacks so like whyy. its like okay because its hordtest but the ping is unplayable since like idk 4 days and why they dont fix this or they just play on the server and see how its running. but please do something against the hackers because its okay with all these bugs and ping but not hackers. that shouldnt been there ever. and the hackers are not even only in hordetes@t they are even in normal evrima and idk how the admins can support that and take so long to fix that big issue..... <@&505047238674874368>
