You never needed a male in legacy so it's kinda back to the roots. Despite that, you still would need to sacrifice a mutation point for it, which you could use for better survival/ combat mutations

So males are not "completly" useless. Even consider if you get better mutations for the babus if you have 2 parents with mutations and not only one :D
