they do ban people, it just takes time and there's not admins available 24/7, they are volunteers - there are also unofficial servers that are smaller and therefore might be responded to faster if you want to give them a try ^^

with the amount of reports they get every day plus messages not even related to hacking reports to slog through you also might be able to regrow that same dino 3 times over before they could get to your message in particular unfortunately :( i think if the growth times weren't so long it wouldn't feel so bad to lose a fg dino to someone hacking but unfortunately that's just how the game is set up

at least the new diet+gastroliths are helpful in speeding up your growth times ^^

I absolutely agree. Action needs to be taken to address this. Cheaters shouldn't be able to disrupt the player experience this much. When cheating occurs, they should be detected, taken down, and the cheater completely removed.

There is a long process between your application being accepted and becoming a server admin, as obviously not everyone who applies can be trusted to manage the in-game servers.

What i don't understand is why it takes months for someone to even look at the application, when clearly they are in such high demand. But that's not the fault of the server admins so please remember to be nice to them, they don't get paid either :)

EAC is already on, it's a constant race between updates to anticheats and cheat engines and the anticheat cant catch them until its been updated to the latest code-tweak

sometimes this manifests in waves where EAC has to be updated to match a recent tweak and until the altered code is found and patched you'll have an influx of people cheating. It will be patched and less people will be on hacking and then another wave will happen

there are hackers in path of titans and there are plenty of uploads of videos online of people being killed by them. there are also plenty of hackers in other videogames and while i respect that you think they don't have that many hackers, your experience doesn't negate that there are lots of them. the isle always has hackers like any videogame but they get caught more often when the EAC has the code to match

up until a year ago i never ran into anyone hacking on the isle for example, my experience didn't negate that there were people killed by hackers

the growth mechanics definitely make it feel significantly more punishing to die in the isle than in other videogames you encounter hackers in, especially if the dino you were growing was a long-haul dino that takes a day or few to grow. the gastroliths and diet changes so you can get up to 200% or so growth speed definitely help but i think there could be more done in that direction
