Just your name, likely not. Your ID, however, is unique to your account and cannot be changed without making a new one. A cheater will never have your steam ID to get you banned unless they are playing on your account.

It wouldn't be a bad idea, because the current admin team is too small for such a big community. It's totally understandable that people have IRL things that are more important than the game itself, but in that case, players who play on a daily basis should be recruited ideally those who play at least 2–4 hours a day.
Unfortunately, we've died countless times because of cheaters. We had plenty of evidence, but we never got our dinosaurs back. It's just starting to get a bit boring now that every two days some one-hit guy shows up and wipes everyone out...

Of course, I only see two admins, a bunch of servers and people, and a day has 24 hours. I don't think they can spend all that time checking for any problems and fixing them.

Yeah steam names aren't unique, but the IDs are. Just sharing a name with a cheater almost certainly won't get you banned, given there are dozens of players running around with the same names.

I have over 10,000 hours in the game, of which I spent around 7–8 thousand on Legacy, and during that time I encountered cheaters maybe 3 times. Here, unfortunately, it’s almost a daily occurrence...

If that's the case, with all respect, then something should be done to stop it. That's my opinion. I understand they have their own lives, but in such a case, if there aren't enough people, either fix the anti-cheat or hire more administrators.

I know another solution against hackers 😄 just play dinos like Hipsy's and swarm the servers in unusual locations on the map. There are no heat spots for players migration, no social interaction, hackers would have to travel far distances to kill the next players 💁🏻‍♂️

the admins actually respond quite well. If you're in a server, and the count is above the limit, you know there's an admin on. I see that quite often. But it takes time, which is the problem. There is only one admin online right now.

The admins have and are allowed to use their commands in game, that's how they administrate the servers. They don't have access to player save data, only the devs do
