Allowing hackers to stay or only banning them occasionally encourages more cheating, frustrates honest players, and harms the overall experience. This kind of “balance” might seem beneficial short-term, but it ultimately drives away players who want a fair and enjoyable game.

A better way is to focus on strong and consistent enforcement against cheating and toxic behavior. That builds trust with the community, improves the game’s reputation, and encourages players to stay and support the project. Protecting the player base and the integrity of the game should come first, because a fair and fun environment is what keeps a game alive in the long run.

If people never receive any kind of response or even a rejection, it clearly shows that help is being rejected outright. What we’re experiencing here actually proves the opposite of what you’d expect: there are obviously too few people handling things — whether it’s administration, development, or any other area. If the team knows how bad it is for loyal players, they could be more flexible. I saw someone send a perfect F2 clip but got no regrow because it was “too late.” Even if that’s the rule, cheating messes up the game so much that giving regrows sometimes would help players. Plus, people that fake to get regrows just die to other cheaters soon anyway — even if the problem of not getting a regrow is on the admins’ side for not handling clips early enough.

It’s possible that the actual admins are doing a lot for the game and are simply overwhelmed — but if that’s the case, the way we as players experience things clearly shows that the developers urgently need help across multiple areas: admin applications, cheating issues, Discord appeals, Q&As, or even basic stuff like when someone isn’t in the official Discord anymore and their friend request never gets accepted — there’s often no way to reach anyone from the team at all.

They must be aware of all this themselves — and if they are, then they should at least be able to identify where the biggest problems are and where to start addressing them.

Because just focusing on development and banning cheaters — without a proper team structure or functioning systems in place (which everything we’re seeing strongly suggests is lacking) — likely won’t be enough to move the game forward in the long run.

I personally think that the admins with ban permissions are probably long-trusted people, and that there’s very little new blood because maybe they feel they can’t trust anyone new. But there are people out there who say, “I don’t expect any permissions — I’m just happy to help in any way I can.” That kind of attitude is the perfect foundation to slowly build trust over time.

And since not everyone who grows into the role will stick around forever, it’s even more important to bring in multiple new people and help them grow. The more people you support and build trust with early on, the more likely you’ll have a strong, reliable team in the future.

I have a question - I have a gen 2 galli when I was nested in I got 3 muts but then only got to pick 2 muts as I grew.
We have another gen 2 galli that has 6 muts (3 inherited, 3 picked). When nesting some of the babies are only inheriting 1 mut, some 2, some 3. Is it just random or is it something we are doing?
