not just you, ai spawns are janky right now apart from in a specific few areas

river delta and the west side of the island are your best bet. they also spawn a lot more often in jungles now

which, honestly, i don't mind, i just wish they spawned more evenly over the map if that makes sense

I raised a total of 5 babies as a grown cera, I haven’t had any problems with ai or food, start to hunt, don’t fall for the chubby boar, or the softness of the deer. Start to hunt, keep the population under control.

Like unstucks, it is not a guarantee you will get one. Mainly, this is due to that we cannot disclose action against others, and we do not 'hold' regrows for any reason.

If you have evidence you died to a cheater, that needs to be sent to us, along with your info (IGN, server, and steam ID). We cannot and will not do one without evidence that shows you died explicitly to a cheating player

Staff are under NDA- There's information we outright by contract cannot give out.

There is a second factor, however: No matter what someone is doing, be it cheating or not, if we give out information that can cause harassment. People get extremely heated over pixel dinosaurs, and we have in the past had to remove people for making truly vile threats against others here. It's a video game, there is no point to name and shame. Cheaters also often want recognition for what they're doing too, so for a lot of them, name and shame just gives them exactly what they want.

A lot of people also just refuse to take no for an answer. No matter what we say, some people will be convinced another player is cheating, no matter what we say or do to prove it otherwise, and it becomes an issue of us getting spammed, making it harder for us to deal with actual reports we get when we're flooded with people trying to fight with us.

Simple solution to hackers..everyone stop playing for a month or 2 and when devs see that playerbase drops significantly maybe then they will invest in a working anticheat

That is in part what the regional chats are for, as per the pins. Pinging the admin role in here notifies all admins at once.

Unfortunately, people can't even be bothered to read the server's rules- the more steps we make to file a report, the less people actually will. What we have at the moment works fairly well, and also conveniently sorts it by region for us at a glance

The anticheat does in fact work. No anticheat is 100% effective, and its a constant arm's race between anticheat systems and cheaters. Believe me, if the anticheat went down or stopped working for whatever reason, you would very quickly notice a difference.

It sucks, we all hate it, but there is no such thing as a perfect anti-cheat, because the only way to get rid of every single cheater is to make sure you simply have no players at all.

The Anticheat catches known forms of cheating, basically. Lessens work load, automates a lot of the process.

Unfortunately one of the main problems we deal with in getting rid of cheaters isn't anything the staff ourselves can really solve TBH: Majority of people don't report, or do it wrong.

A lot of 'reports' we get are just people screaming in our DMs, cussing us out, and wondering why nothing is happening and refusing to send us any sort of info we need, like what server this is happening on. Or yknow, crying in the discord 'nothing ever gets done, dont bother' and making other people not want to report.

I get what you mean, 100%. But the reason people are like this is becuase they aren’t getting any type of reply. Me, for example, has never received a reply - therefore I have thought that it is completely useless to even try to report, yet I still @ in here with location and have a video ready. But it’s the same every time, no reply. I guess it’s just the frustration of the players due to lack of communication, as you can see from other’s chats here too. ☝️ This too. It's a public chat anyone can join, fact is, me and Jay talking in here at all, regardless of if we're in game or not, likely means many players with cheats have logged out because they often watch the chats to see when we're active too.

It absolutely sucks on all ends- people frustrated with us because of a lack of communication, but if we do, people either get mad at us for it, or the cheaters we're trying to remove will try and dodge us

I think the developers really need a clear strategy to combat cheaters. There are just too many of them lately, and one-shot kills are being abused more and more. Also, admin activity seems too low to properly handle these issues.
