He knows when I am coming towards him while I am at the bottom of a fairly deep lake.

Do AI fish despawn?! I have reached the early stages of full grown as a deino currently 71.8% growth. in the place I am in currently there were 4 schools of fish when I was sub-adult. now that I have grown into adult (young adult) they are gone. There have been no players here killing fish, the only other player that have been here now in the past 3 hours have been a single diablo. someone please explain??? Theystill spawn, but the fish will spawn rather more around you than right next to you. If you move around ur area of watewr, there should be some spawned and untill u killl them or other ai, they wont spawn back.

Also that have been debunked 2 days ago I died a FG deino I swam around northern lake 3 times before going down to the bottom of Northern lake river at the pond with the halfpond-waterfall

well yeah, the spawn rates is pretty slow with big fish. Think of it as them wanting you to travel around, cause its the same with normal ai. that if theres nth, u need to travel away to find more.

except, as soon as I step foot on land and head somewhere away from water, people want to kill me. I get dehydrated so quickly it's a joke. and yet they make it even more challenging to move from 1 river to the other. or 1 lake to another by forcing a croc to land wander. what kinda of logic is that? a Dino already challenging to reach full grown on, makes it even harder with horrible AI spawn mechs to feast for a sliver of stomach fill until an "unsuspecting" prey walks up. we've reached a point in the games lifespan that all life on land is terrified of water and have so many Safe spots to drink from

essentially leaving the croc forced to wander on land at it's worst / weakest point. insane stam drain with attacks. It's really a shame that they make such an interesting playstyle so horrible of an experience.

All I am asking is adjust the spawning of water AI slightly so a Deino don't have to contradict itself and it's very nature of being.

tbh, i dont really get why your playing deino if u dont like deino?

I have a fg deino and grew it with 0 issues. A dein is supposed to live solely on player food, so if you decide to go to a dead area or as you now do, play on a not so active server (im assuming) and therefor wont get what you need. Playing dein takes patience, skill, time and to actually love or just like being dein. If you dont like the play-style, dont play the dino. Dein is super easy with food if u go highlands, delta, water acces or even sometimes south plains. ( wouldnt recommend south plains due to there always being hackers)

A dein is made from the very start of its release to feed and hunt on player dinos, big fish has NEVER been its strong side.

I know, been in the game since beta. I know all which you are refering to. I love the deino, it's the only dino I play these days. Yet, I've been to all the lakes and spots as fairly FG at peak hours 95+ players. not a single player have come close to the water at spots I've been at, and they have always gone to safe spots to drink, not really easily accessible as a Deino.

If you have grown a Deino with ZERO issues to FG, bloody well done. But I also find it hard to believe. I have 250+ hours on deino alone. constantly meeting issues, not finding players in hot spots. people too skitich to even dare come close to the lakes.

skill is how u need to survive deins, stegos, and hungers. Patience is following, tracking and "hunt" other players since its ur main food source. and time is obviously what it all takes

What happens with such an extensive amount of time played is you become numb to the issues and blind to them because you are so used to dealing with them, that they "dissapear" doesn't mean they are not there.

I know full well that a deino is hard to play, I achnoledge the challenges, hence why I want to keep playing this deino. I love the playstyle and I love the way it feels to play, but atm the Deino is at its worst it has ever been imo. back when they first came out they were OP, then they became less OP but still easier but yet rather challenging. I've been in the game throughout the different patches and such and played deino when it's been available for play. at least you could stay alive on AI enough so that you could hunt and stalk your prey for hours, you can't now even on full server because players are hyper-scared of the water

well great another FG croc dead to starvation because no AI could be found from dome pool to bottom of southplains river. not as long a stretch as Northern lake and all the way to the bottom of the pond/lake there without an AI to just keep myself from starving. Yes, didn't help that there were only 7 players online, had a diablo around my area coming to pick a fight with me often. he was FG when I wasn't yet 6 tons. so I couldn't grab him and suffocate him. when I was FG he was no where to be seen forcing me to make the travle on land after I was sure he was gone to the first part of south plains river in attempts to find AI to keep myself from starving so I could safelog and log back on to a full server at a hot spot.

The base issue is not the growing part. the base issue is once you are done growing and no players are around your area you are forced to move and if you are at a spot where you have to move on land to get to a new place to find new potential prey(players) + the fact that there is no AI to feed on to help aid you get to the other place on the map to resume your playing. you are stuck in a constant growing loop having to be pissweak, then attempt to get to a point where you can fight anything or even drag anything down to the bottom for food. you don't really get to play the croc. yet devs want players to utalize the map and move around, but in the process is making certain dino extra hard to move from one location to the next one. That's not good gameplay design, that's horrible gameplay design. if the only threat in water is not supposed to be at a body of water, all other players will aim to be there forever leaving the rest of the map dead at least around the bodies of water.

Definitely see and respect your point on Deino’s dying to starvation as a FG ridiculous as AI doesn’t hold you over. I used to main Deino. But I’ve been playing other dinosaurs since they did this update, cause I’m not a fan. Hopefully devs will make it easier to survive as a Deino.

There’s hot spots for AI you just gotta know them and hopefully you aren’t too far gone by the time you reach them on hunger. But as for AI it doesn’t matter as a FG Deino. Is the point he’s trying to make even with AI all around you, it’s walking on eggshells trying not to starve.

Weight don’t matter when some spiecies is restricted to certain areas on the map, when all other carnis can move across all the map and still have enough AI to sustain it at full stomach. Having a spiecis play based on server pop and not play when server dead is not good game design
