Respectfully, no they don't. This is not the first time this has happened. I have sent recordings or people cheating with their name tags clearly on show, to all of the admin directly. I got 2 replies. One saying they would look into it (never heard back from them again) and then the other acting like a complete child calling me a liar when I said a friend of mine got a re-grow for being killed by a hacker. The official servers are riddled with cheaters, and there are simply not enough admin to deal with it. They are failing the players of this game horrendously.

the officials do have a lot of hackers, i know it’s a problem and i wasn’t denying that. as for the admins, they are not supposed to get back to you with a reply on if the hacker got banned or not, I believe that they’re not allowed to. the best they can say is they’ll look into it, or say something else to show that your DM was heard.
