Was playing stego a few days ago got killed by a mixpack of cera, teno, dibble and a stego. after i killed the cera and the dibble was low the stego came and killed me, i thought he came to help me but no... i recommend to play on unofficial servers but even then the game is thrash right now maybe it will be better in another 5 to 10 years xD

It depends. Personally I wouldn't bother putting it on something small like a troo, kind of a waste on something that doesnt have much health to begin with. I also wouldn't put it on herbivores cuz they can only use it when eating diet plants and not grazing.

Its good because it gets you back into the game faster after a fight, and keeps your from getting into more fights while already low on health- but thats only if you have access to food. I've honestly only been able to actually use the mutation on croc so far- since it works when eating fish schools. Other dinos I just never seem to have the right situation to use it in.

Logged in on my eu1 stego only for some other stego to beg me to join some sort of stego war discord, freak out about a mixpack coming to kill us and then run away .. regardless of if the mixpack was planning to kill me or not I showed them as much kindness as possible because honestly their tenos were really cute. My fg stego survived this encounter without a scratch they seemed pretty nice too even if it was just pretend (not fully sure). Make that 1 good experience on stego for the books

I moved up to a cliff to get better defense and they did seem angry but none of them ATTACKED me so I never swung. Only started moving when more stegos came over the hill just to keep a safe distance

I felt like I played that way more calmly than I ever have even though I was really nervous

The stegos said the tenos and ceratos were gauging my aggression level so I'm really glad I didn't misfire out of nervousness

If you're hoping to find ai, be nomadic and stick to paths! AI will spawn in certain "area types" and paths are one of them (AI will collect around paths, and at cliffs near the edges of areas). You can also go to river delta and stay sitting for a little bit around the rocky areas to trigger all ai around delta to spawn in big numbers

So the palm tree marker is a sanctuary for juvenile creatures and there you can find Mushrooms that give all 3 nutrients. Eventually you grow out of this zone and bees will attack you and you wont get nutrients from the mushies.You will see some other markers on your sniffer - The footsteps are mass migration zones and the little lemon/eye symbols are smaller patrol zones. You will find your 3 foods in those too.
