In all honesty, by the time i realize some1 has a increased bite range hack or immortal life hack i'm either deceased or about to decease. this only works when your 3rd person watching this happen or some1 of your group is still there and does the reporting for you.

yea the knockdown followed up by 2 gores before you can get up is sheer pain, luckily they can't see behind them while in sparring/defensive mode. it locks their camera like drinking/eating does to only look forward.
if you can get a buddy behind them, they are free meat

they can still turn around though it takes a moment

Yeah, theyre as annoying to fight as Dilos due to how broken they are

for dilos fighting them in the rain is preffered since they will have trouble hearing you honk your hallucinations into reality from the shadow realm

and herbivores generally have terrible night vision, so fighting them at night with rain makes it a horror show for them

Fish spawns, especially elite fish spawns are very unreliable and from time to time broken. They are also dependent on your hunger and the amount of players around which sucks especially for Deinos since many are too dumb to understand that being cannibalistic is neither obligatory nor generally advantageous.
So, ideally team up and at around 50% hunger elite fish should start spawning.
Most of swamps has little elite fish spawns except for a small pond. Main river is pretty reliable. Water access is great. Northern lake is aweful in general for Deinos. Oh and highlands lake is trash since it's elite fish spawns are broken and insufficient when alone.
