The bugs are kinda sad in this game it take a lot of time to achive adult dinosaurus... and you cant always just start a new same one ... maybe you just lost your mutations what you got from your family... but it is what it is ...

it will take some time for you to find hotspots and learn to follow calls, but in fact there are tons of players even your own species if u know where to look. raising player count would still be awesoem though

Problem is server cost money so having them empty while player count is low means effectively unneccessary cost. They also can't cluster ressources for EU and NA servers on backend since that would defeat the purpose of region specific servers and bring high latency.
They very much could have more servers but that would mean higher running cost. They could also actively monitor players manually but that would take like 1 employee per maybe 1000 active players and that would be kinda unreasonable costs.

Well there are unofficial ones. In the end it comes down to cost and I get that they don't wanna pay for 15 servers all running practically empty 8 hours of the day. I sit in 33/35 in queue currently :/

Population control, unofficial servers with rules usually have pop control so that not too many players play one species (deino for example)

The Evrima branch messes up resolution settings and soft locks the player in the menu. You can't change it since the apply button is outside the monitor. Only gameusersettings.ini edit helped. Affected res: 3440x1440 (so 21:9)
