Dryo is easy to grow, you basically need full stomach of shrooms and it kept your diet until you hit 100%. So you focus more on other aspects of the game such as jumping around to figure things. When you learn a thing or two you can go Tenonto. Which is a similar herb, or go Troodon / Omniraptor which is similar carnivor from mechanical point of view at least. Jumping / Specials etc.

I haven't play much herrera myself, but from what i see it has a similar playstyle as a deino. You make a trap with a corpse and then you patiently wait. But on the other hand it is more versitile from Deino (not so much boring) because you can go whenever you want and see better in the dark. However the playstyle is very similar and requires patience.
