What is the benefit of playing a herbivore? Stronger for pvp?

Carnivores get the game mechanic of hunting other players to eat, herbs dont have that

I am about 23 hrs in and started on Pteros and Hereras. Until you learn to find prey its a tough learning curve for sure.

the higher you are the more damage you deal, but this was stuck becouse u couldn't do damage if u were to high instead u would die aswell

so this counters it and adds even more height that you can jump from therefor more damage

once paired you can press "N" on grass or sand to build a nest

i dont want to say "its normal" but its not easy. you will learn over time where to get ai. now with random spawns, there isnt a set 'hotspot' really anymore, you can guess where people may be but its a little harder than it was before

how do i find like deer or something like that other than just seeing them in the distance

As a baby, go to sanctuary (it's the trees) and search for babies there, or just try to find AI around the map such as goats and such. You can find them in like west access, west rail access, etc.

deer, goat and boar are told where they spawn in your preferred food, something like "all land biomes" basically forests, jungles, highlands etc etc. tacos can be found at the beaches easily

you dont have a map on this game, but you can use an interactive map on google, but be aware that some places are different with changes from them said maps, e.g. swamps and most recently east plains

but the interactive map is still good to use and it gives you an idea on where you are

as you play more, things will become rememberable and you will find landmarks that you can link to places, such as the way highlands looks or south plains having two waterfalls linked together with a long river

it takes time, so its understandable that your first while will be hard, i still get lost sometimes

but if you keep at it, you will get the hand of it eventually. you can also grab eggs of people and then you will be in a group with others that can help you while you play, to get an understanding of the game

yea, with croc, it can be 'easier' with fish for food, while land creatures you have to kinda 'go looking' for food, so if you dont know where you are, since you have more of an area to go around since crocs are mainly/only around water areas, it can be hard

yea kinda. it helps to keep note of where they tend to spawn a lot. listen out for goats baaa, deer bleeps and boar pig sounds (? XD). tacos scream
