Yeah. I was finally able to find a death match ip I could use but I have to put it into the isle startup so whenever I start up the game it automatically goes to that server. BUT it's like 50/50 if it will put me in the death match, main server, or second server for the particular community. It's so frustrating xD took me a whole 10 minutes of quitting and reopening before it opened into the death match

That's how Asura is. Some of them share a computer with another and sometimes it will throw you into the other xD. Try to join DM and it throws you into server 6. Try to join 7, throw you into 8 lol.

You probably gotta delete your saved folder.

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.

Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %localappdata% in there and open your %localappdata% folder.
Once opened: Find the folder TheIsle > Open that > delete the "Saved" folder inside it.

Unfortunately no. It's the new normal for Legacy. I've been able to find servers by scrolling passed the Chinese servers but I know that's not for everyone.

Legacy isn't updated anymore. The server list is one thing that is affected by the lack of support for this version. Evrima is the main branch which is under development now.

You can still find legacy servers, you just need to go by a workaround.

Steam and Legacy hate each other's guts. There's no fixing it. It's not gonna get better.
You'll either have to keep tinkering with your settings or figure out which servers you wanna play on and join by favoriting their IP addresses

no. go to that site in that message i linked above. youll find IPs for servers.
then youll copy said IP, go to steam.
click View, top right.
then click Game servers.
Then press the + near bottom mid to add an IP to your favorites.
After you paste, sometimes a space likes to sneak into the IP at the beginning. Make sure there is no space(delete it if so), before pressing enter.
then, when you want to join. simply have the game itself closed, go to that favorites window, double click which you wanna join, then leave it alone. It will open the game by itself, think for a bit on main welcome screen, and then will open up the server.

just be aware, when looking at your favorited IPs, you cant see which server it is. it will just show a bunch of numbers. so it gets a bit tricky lol

You gotta delete your saved folder.

Open File Explorer from the taskbar.
Select View > Options > Change folder and search options.
Select the View tab and, in Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives and OK.

Afterwards, at the bottom left of your taskbar there should be a white search bar. Type %localappdata% in there and open your %localappdata% folder.
Once opened: Find the folder TheIsle > Open that > delete the "Saved" folder inside it.

Make sure there is no space in front of the IP after you paste it. One likes to sneak in and makes it not work.
After deleting the empty space, then hit enter.

The best way to do it, I've found, is just search for servers online and then change your steam start-up settings

so you left click the Isle

click properties

Under general, go to your Launch Options

then write +connect [IP ADDRESS OF THE SERVER HERE]

This method works best for me as someone who could not even get the server list

I add them to my favorites on steam.

Grab the IP from wherever.
Make sure game is closed.
Go to steam, top left click on View.
Then click game servers.
You'll see a + bottom mid-ish.
Click that, add the IP, and voila.
Then you'd double click on the server(it won't say server name but a bunch of numbers. Makes it fun lol) and after clicking, touch nothing.
Leave it alone to think and it will open the game, probably think on main menu for a bit, then will open up server.

Nope. Legacy and steam just don't like each other. Welcome to the new normal choices are either tinker with your settings until some show up, or find an IP and add it to favorites and join that way. (To find IPs scroll up and you'll find a website somewhere. Top games something or another)

We allowed certain mods. As long as no hacks, you’re good. Skins, maps decor, etc etc is chill. We have rules to prevent KOS & KFS. So the rules still let PvP but also is still good for those not into it. We have a PvP area too

Usually you just have to keep changing the ingame max result and steams ping/minute until the servers appear for you. Its pain in the ahh tbh.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to play legacy. When I first bought the game I could only play Chinese servers nothing else was there and my friend had all the servers. I then downloaded evrima but that sucks now I don't like what they have done in the newest update I can't play if I die like that's just stupid. The Chinese servers are fake hacker ones. Don't bother joining them.
The legacy search is outdated and broken, and steam dislikes it, so it's gonna be a pain in the behind to find servers. You'll have to tinker with your settings or join discords and join from their instructions.

So here is the thing about that, Sandbox dino's can not be naturally selected in a survival server. What communities have to do is make it to where you inject, or replace your server side game file with the sandbox dino information that you have. These "bots" cost money, real money, unless you are a developer and know how to code everything. So honestly a few virtual currency points by spending time in the community server and using a command a few times a day to earn that currency is not big deal.
If you can find one, play on a server listed as "Sandbox".

Or the only way to get it is to be nested by people with special privileges.
Especially "semi realism" servers.
