rex is way too big to fit on stage, "utahraptor" is a ripoff of certain raptors in another franchise, herrera is way too unusual not exactly a game representative (and so are a lot of the other small tiers)

actually practically all of the smash roster playables are characters rather than creatures (excluding perhaps pikachu and other Pokemon, though even then they have a degree of character treatment)

pteranodon and pachy might be interesting as playables, to say the least. The only ability you could really opt as an attack for ptera would be skimming, while pachy headbutts and may have defensive buffs due to being relatively muscular. So one is a glass canon, the other is a bit more robust.
