the KOTM design didn't change too much from the originals, though it had a chance to go for a somehow more sensible, realistic look as godzilla did in 2014.

yeah the wingspan is big, but it still has a humanlike torso (broad rather than deep as to actually anchor a set of powerful flight muscles)

while from a biomechanical standpoint kaiju are basically impossible anyway, rodan seems quite poorly suited for flight.
