I'm sorry I just can't support Nintendo for the blatant slap in the face ZA is.
They've minmaxed their budget and profits. Doing the absolute minimum so that they'll turn a profit nomatter what. Why put effort into the game when pokemon fans will buy 10+ million copies regardless. Absolute bottom of the barrel content. And then $30DLC on release to get the full pokedex? They didn't have to do that. They purposely cut content just to get you to pay $100 for the full game with a map smaller than pokemon red/blue on the gameboy and lower quality than sword/shield.

There are very apparent improvements in Legends Z-A compared to the previous games, and it looks fun enough (the 'Legends' games seem to be their avenue for innovation), but small changes every new game can feel slow and painful to endure as a fan.

It doesn't have to be big budget, but more time for polish and development. However, I believe the games are an afterthought - marketing is where the real money comes from, and the games have to be made on time to accommodate for the anime's release, etc.
I don't understand how people ask for top-end graphics in a franchise about bizarre cartoony animals and stylised humans. The textures from Scarlet/Violet were excellent, but lacked the vibrancy we now see in Z-A. The metal sheens still exist, but I don't recall seeing any scale/fur/coarse textures on the pokémon... Can anyone who has Z-A confirm if they're present?

My issue with the quality of the graphics in the game isn't with the pokemon and characters, but with the environmental assets. The buildings look like cardboard landscape looks like GameCube
They can do better but they won't. They've successively done worse

Did you heard about the balcony drama? A lot of people missed the point of the complaint and thought the critiques stemmed from a place of disbelief. In actuality, people knew the barred balconies existed, but didn't like seeing it as a flat texture slapped onto the side of a box.
As it happened, there was depth and modelled balconies in the demo of the game, but were replaced to what we have now to help make the game run smoother.

And then there's the fact that the modern games get fewer and fewer buildings to access.

To my knowledge, Gamefreak remains a small team that refuses to expand. Marketing is where the the bulk of its money comes from, and games are almost never delayed, because their schedule dictates that as the main platform to advertise the new pokémon, that would cut into their profits.

If they had a bigger team, they could get more done in the time allowed, but apparently, they refuse.

I'm thoroughly disappointed and as a long time pokemon fan I'm gonna sit this one out and hope enough people do so that Nintendo gets the message

Just sad that I can't have all my fav mods in one pack.
Cobblemon and its add-ons are all 1.21.1 but Conquest reforged and SWEM are 1.20.1

Can't I have cool horses, over 15,000 unique blocks, and pokemon all in one

I just checked, it's called mine colonies. Apparently you can design your own buildings for it and everything. I never got into it cause it's a bit too complicated for me to really enjoy it. But if you like create you might like that one too

Theres an entire quest book you can do for rewards

And theres ALOT of quests

I found I had to stop playing how I see everyone else playing and just play how I want.
Survival, cheats on, keep inventory, don't rush the nether dragon. Just do/build whatever I want whenever I feel like it. And don't force myself to do a megabuild 100% in survival if I'm gonna have more fun collecting most of the materials then finishing off some of the finer details when swapping to creative.

It's sandbox and your solo world. Nobody else needs to care how you play it except you

Just installed a heat lamp yesterday for my ball python. I hope it works well… anything I should be concerned about?

Good start but needs more decor 👍
Ball pythons feel more secure when there's cover for them to traverse. Having various textures and different types of objects to crawl over, under, and through provides enrichment and is very beneficial. (It also helps them get their shed off easier when they shed)

I have a baby ball python so my setup is smaller than yours but here's what mine looks like as an example with some bonus pictures of him using literally every inch (lights are off because night. But he has a ceramic heat emitter)

@quaint scaffold Also I see your humidity is pretty low. I recommend if you don't want to keep his ambient humidity higher ( ~70-80%) that you give him a humidity hide. I live where it's pretty dry most of the year and have trouble keeping his enclosure above 65% despite minimizing airflow as much as possible without completely removing it. My humidity hide is the black Tupperware container on the warm side. I have it filled with damp moss so he can have a nice high humidity zone. I also gave him a "large" shallow dish of water as an alternate option because some ball pythons like soaking. Mine seems content with the humidity hide as he uses it daily.

I was hoping to see some actual changes in some of the older Megas

• Mega Absol becoming Dark/Fairy and getting an ability change
• Mega Zard X getting a slight stat redistribution (the 21 points put into Sp.atk being redistributed with 10 more going into its Phys.Atk and 11 going into its Speed)
  Among others

But my biggest hope is Mega Sharpedo getting Fishious Rend upon its return to the series. I dont care if it gets thrown into Ubers, let my man's eat

You can get fake plants for decent prices at the sale bins of various craft stores and sometimes even the dollar store has good cheap fake plants. I recommend buying a handful of ones you like then mixing and matching them so his space isn't always the exact same setup.
