Yeah, world was my first game so i went back and played all the older ones. Have GU on my switch, played it pretty thoroughly but havent beaten all the deviants yet. I have emulated 3u and 4u since they aren't available anymore and have been playing through those ones. Frontier looked like absolute craziness and insanity so I wanted to give it a try. I knew what I was getting myself into and still am not prepared for what BS this games thrown at me

Yea, that definitely sounds like Frontier lol. My first MH game was Monster Hunter Tri back on the Wii. Then I didn't play a MH game again until World came out on the PC. I never had a 3DS or Wii U to play 3U and 4U. My friend ended up gifting me a 3DS for my birthday 2 years ago and bought me 4U so I could experience the game. We played it together for a bit. Haven't beaten the game in its entirety but I reached G-rank in that game.

I got GU for my Switch before my friend gifted me the 3DS for 4U

I also haven't beaten all the deviants in GU, but I've reached like the endgame in GU

I always followed the MH games though even though I didn't play a MH game again until World

I had it on my laptop when I was living in the UK but when I moved back I had my PC so obviously didnt have the game anymore. I reached end-game in GU too, like i beat ahtal-ka and all that but i haven't completed it as much as a game like world where i almost have nothing to do in that game anymore

Hmmmm, that's honestly a hard question. Both games have their advantages and disadvantages. I like both games a lot. I would go more in-depth into each game's advantages and disadvantages but it's late for me. I'm too tired for that. I think at the end of the day though, I prefer World

Though I still enjoy my time with Sunbreak and still have a lot of fun with the game. As you could see, I have plenty of hours in Rise/Sunbreak.

Base Rise was definitely not super great. It was okay but it wasn't great compared to World. Sunbreak definitely improved Rise a lot

Two things I prefer with Sunbreak over World are the variety of monsters and the Risen elder dragons. I think the Risen elder dragons that got introduced with Sunbreak are much better than the Arch-tempered elder dragons from World/Iceborne. I also think Sunbreak has better monster variety than World/Iceborne.

Rise/Sunbreak do be lacking in the Brute Wyvern department though, which makes me sad

The only two brute wyverns in Rise/Sunbreak are Anjanath and Barroth lol
