I only ever found one that was good. Then I shot someone who was spying on my base. Turns out they were an admin/one of their buddies and got angry that I shot them (didn't kill them) and brought a Fire Wyern to my wooden hut (which fun fact, raiding those obviously below your tech level was against the rules but ya know, admin) and barely any critters and killed me. Then the next day, admins got in an argument with each other, people left, server is gone.

Why.

Like why must every other server have either crazy jacked up rates or have an average of 5 players

Its funny too because the one thing I get is the isle has jp dinosaurs, but the thing is some of them aren't even actually jp dinosaurs, isles rex is different from jps sure they're both inaccurate but about the only similarity is the roaring sounds

If you gave the isle rex completely different roars it'd probably branch off from jp rex

there are key differences the more you put things next to one another

isles rex has a less bulkier snout, has a larger crest around the eyes, the arms don't point forward like jps rex, the only similarity that is by far the most notable is the teeth sticking out

but i mean most media even before jp had this issue

Interestingly enough, they aren't using standard animations to make it work
It's mostly using a tweaked physics simulation to get it move like that, the only thing I think isn't physics is the controller pressing spacebar to have the head go up to reach higher terrain

Basically periscoping
But it's slithering and terrain navigation in that teaser footage isn't a standard animation cycle that interacts with the terrain better
