That reminds me of a movie, but I forgot the name of it >.< but it was bad anyway, I think ?
The premise was that they uncovered some ancient sphere while humanity was on the brink of extinction.
Apperantly that sphere made earth habitable. So they tried to find the origin of the sphere and travel there with a space ship, but something malfunctions and they end up somewhere they don't know.
Later it turns out the malfunction brought them in the past, and they were the ones to place the sphere on earth

My favorite insect families in my collection were some BEAUTIFUL parasitoid wasps Icheumonidae and Brachonidae. Whirligig and dung beetles (Gyrinidae and Scarabaeidae). And of course Monarch butterflies (Nymphalidae)

Some Papilionidae butterflies too, bright blue and bright red

But from all the arthropods I interacted with, my favorite were Myriapods and Crustaceans
