Generally You can tell if something’s swimming around near a surface. Unless said thing isn’t trying to be spotted

Would also allow water sense to work on things underwater again without being cheesy.

Nothing is really gonna be able to challenge deino in the water other than Spino. Because it’s just simply too large for most animals to attack

Something like a Rex COULD brawl one & easily come out on top, but it’s not aquatic whereas deino is

If they ever go down the route of more damage types, I could see Deino being heavily resilient towards slashes n' such. Like claws.

I guess that's part of the balance. Quetz can only abduct you in more open areas, so there's counterplay, like how with deinos, there are shallow and isolated ponds to safely drink at.

not saying that I know the issue as I can only guess. But lets say that a server issue has to do with how the game or server is saving client data. And lets say that it was doing it wrong and messing it up.
The only solution is to wipe the memory and then try and fix it.
Like imagine a car but the engine is not working, and then some guy is like "Why did you take out the engine?".
But I so agree it is annoying, and just a small heads up and even some gossip about what they are working on would be nice, just so everyone is on the same page you know.

As a juvie Rex grows out of its juvie phase it will replace crab chicken etc ai and put something else that isn’t meant for juvies. but I guess we need more herbivores in the game for that to happen.
