An engaging and variable challenge I guess is better
Patrol zones for example kinda get in the way of this. Many times have I been able to just kinda chill in one area for ages because my patrols keep spawning close by and boom, easy diets.

And while prime requirements are a thing that need you to move more, I'd say that's its own problem of prime requirements more so just being "go here because" and not "go here because it's good for your animal"

I’m saying, it should be more vague so you can’t pinpoint so your food so easily, so finding it should take a bit more effort, and have said we need larger food items available for those larger herbivores that struggle atm

I’ve put forward other ideas to this before where you can find herbie foods in specific kinds of spots, like mushrooms on logs in swamp for example

The current system for herbis suck but in the opposite way, there are very few places you can choose to go for consistent food. You have to either chase migration zones praying they don't vanish while they are supper buggy, or stay in water access for 8 hours straight eating food

There should be at the very least 10 spots around the map like water access forest with all nutrients for herbis to pick and choose wherever they like

Carnis can play anywhere they want, herbis cannot

i have a theory would prime dinos that rely on there weight like deino and cama for dmg not get weaker once prime stats fall off like speed and biteforce would go down for like cama but if adult cama for example is 20tons and prime is 30tons wouldn't prime still do more dmg even at 100% since its whole dmg gimmick is its fat so prime cama will always do more dmg no matter if peak prime or prime senior

i suggest playing unofficials since officials are a lawless land with hackers and clans running them, when you hit play and get on the server menu, on the right there should be a little neon blue bar that says official, click that and pick unofficials

unofficials are more heavily moderated, have rules against unfair behavior like mixpacking, some have unique skins and sped up growth
