That's what a raid boss is: a challenge. That's not a playstyle for everyone, but I think what will make camara unfun to play is not the dying, but the fact that beyond a certain growth, almost no-one will try to attack you. I remember reading how bored people got playing trike before rex came along, because it just wasn't worth it for the smaller carniviores to attack an adult.
