The Kentros heath does not matter. Whether it’s knocked over doesn’t matter. Because it’s spikes are a form of defense that requires no input from the Kentro, you bite it you take damage. No matter what you will take damage from a kentrosaurus spikes

1: Rex (and probably allo too) needs to have its speed nerfed, which also means that Stego and Trike get a slight speed nerf as well to avoid them just running down and mercing Rexes.

2: The Kentro’s reflect stance needs more work.

3: Rex crush vs a standing Kentro should result in some kind of damage that punishes the Rex. Rex Crush vs a flipped/headbutted Kentro should work normally (emphasis on should).

Hey, just had a crash and wanted to report it in case it helps.

I was playing as a Rex and walking down to a water access with 2 other Rex players. We weren’t fighting or doing anything crazy, just heading to drink, and all of a sudden my game crashed. It looked like the other 2 crashed at the same time as well.

Error I got was:
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION (reading address 0x0000001a00000020)

Also, now every time I try to load back into the game, it crashes again in a loop as soon as I get in.
Not sure if it’s tied to the water area or multiple large dinos loading in at once, but since all of us crashed together it might be server-related or a bug in that spot.
No mods, drivers up to date.
Just thought I’d share in case it helps 👍

I was walking there with two other random Rex players, and as soon as I rejoined the server, I briefly saw both of their bodies right next to me for a split second before my game crashed again. i will say afaik, kentros passive damage still has some bugs to it when it comes to how it registers. i think its supposed to use the spike hitbox as a damage reduction like ceratopsian frills but it currently doesnt always. hence why herrera can drop on it

It’s not just weight, it’s also the vast size difference. I doubt kentro spikes can even go from one side of the Rex jaw to the other.

Would it hurt the Rex? Yes. Would it be enough to make kentro survive the pin encounter against a Rex? No. He’s still going to die

tmk the reflective damage isnt in yet, but reflective bleed, stun, and pounce immunity is

likely (at least in my eyes) that they are waiting until they can blanket apply reflective damage to every sharp object on the herbivore roster before fully pushing it out
