I love the herbivores but you don't really have a lot to do proactively. people like to play carnivores where they feel like they have a mission. with bigger herbs you also can hold your own later in the game and people like that. even servers with max cap on dino species have a very weighted rooster and often 80+% carnivores.

I have a 3x entombed hypsilon i like to nest with. Feels like I'm helping fellow hypsilon players when my mutation gives kids 20% more stamina and hp regen.

That’s because you aren’t. It’s mostly in bleed, which won’t affect the Rex immediately (ya know, when you need it the most) and half the time the bleed doesn’t matter because the Rex sits after killing you and either naturally heals the bleed or has traumatic thrombosis to just not die.

I would reduce rex's size to 8 tones on full prime and making it harder to obtain, so most rexes would avrg way lower, same for trike and stego.
On other hand, i would buff smaller creatures's prime weight, such as omni to 575-650 kg and make them slightly slower.
Then we would have a more homogeneous roster, which would be more interesting in my opinion.

And that's a negative point of the game, when you play the game you expect an interactive roster, but trying to deal with 90% of the roster is a waste of time or death attempt. So the game boils down to interacting with the only two creatures that interact with you throughout the game and dueling with them, making someone waste 3 hours of gameplay.

Why? It would only be for juvies and effectively the same as sanctuary shrooms. Once they get out of sanctuary they’re gonna have just as bad of a time, if not worse because the high diet makes them grow fast and thus drain hunger fast.
