that error usually means the server is full(even if it appears that it isnt) or there are too many people trying to get in at once. you'll need to find a server with low population, or continue to refresh/spam to get in.
official servers with 0/115 rn are likely not functional

To explain.
I love the movement feel of Herra, it's extremely satisfying to play as, it's the most skillful hunter by far. I like it's sounds, it's design, it's model quality, and pretty much everything about it.

Hypsi is also quite good, missing some additional depth to it's vomit and nesting but that's about it. Oh... and feathers. Honestly remembering the feathers makes me want to kick it down a few notches, it's a smaller playable so it's far less noticeable but still.

Beipi has fun movement, good sounds, and is just well implemented. I wish it was bigger and stronger but oh well. Also the feathers, again, painful, but since it spends most of its time in the water it kinda works.

Teno is just great all around.
Maia is just great all around.

With those two it's just really strong fundamentals with some minor gripes.

Rex has some iffy bits... but all around it was implemented quite well, the sounds are a bit of a downgrade but that is more than made up for via paleo calls. Also the crush and head swings look badass. Movement is a little janky but the cool factor kinda makes up for it.

Stego has come a long ways, it's fun to fight with, it's model looks great, it's animations are mostly solid except the run. It's recent updates boost it a lot in my mind. Diablo is a fairly similar case, I think it has a pretty bad model but the design is solid, animations are nice, combat feels fluid, it's size and sounds are hit or miss, but overall I am quite fond of it. Pachy would be S tier but it kinda lacks the impact it had ages ago, other than that, no notes.

Allo is just... Allosaurus, they didn't mess it up that bad, B tier.

C tier is just kinda the averages, either because I don't have major pros or cons, or because their pros and cons are so severely opposite that it balances out to C tier. With Dilo, Cera, and Carno it's for latter, some parts are excellent, others are really bad, so it evens out. The rest are just kinda there.

I hate Omni's design.

I think Troodon's Venom is fine but it kinda lacks an identity right now, the sounds are nice, the movement is fun, the size adds a lot of charm... but the venom feels like it falls a little flat, the pounce feels better than Omni but it's still just a pounce. It's not really scary or intimidating, whenever I die to a swarm it's just annoying. They don't really have the night terror quality to them, and they need a group to even feel present in the game.

Pteranodon is ugly.

Deinosuchus is ugly, I think grabs are just kinda lame, it doesn't really have anything to stand out other than that. It's sounds are fine I guess? But honestly it's the most bland possible deinosuchus they could have come up with.

My reasoning: Carno, Cerato, Gali, Herrera, Maia, Omni, Pachy, Stego, Troodon & Teno all feel how I’d like them to play and all have solid design (calls, animations etc)

Allo just feels generic with less of an identity to it (this isn’t cause of grapple). It doesn’t really need to ambush like it was said to and while it does do big bleed as expected….it also has ridiculous dps for some reason which I don’t see for Allo.

Ptera ugly but that’s about it. & shallow gameplay. Hypsi is fine but the climbing feels by far the most uncooked part of its kit. It’s neat but doesn’t work on a fundamental level when most climbable objects are slanted and make you die in the process

Dryo…..no burrow. Rex is….not terrible but feels very overtuned even for an apex. It has so much going on that it feels like it just does everything & better

Deino is amazing in design. Terrible for gameplay. Trike & dibble both suffer from similar issues, they don’t feel different AT ALL other than movement & stats. They also don’t feel good to play & struggle to feel like a ceratopsian to things similar in size to them. They were designed for a roster of small carnivores, rather than one with Rex or Allo in it
