I doubt game devs would spend all the time it would take to make a detailed, real world coffee maker this well and consistently. I wouldn’t want them too either, since it’d take time away from more meaningful game work. That’s the ideal use for premade assets, to fill corners and make a game’s world feel more alive.

That said, I’d love to track some assets like this down and make a list of notable games that use them. That’s the kind of stuff that I would weirdly make fanart of: 106 and a Dryosaur just chillin’ by the coffee maker with who knows who else has seen this same machine in their own games.

Which is all the more reason I wish they’d turn the burners with the pots on it back on. That coffee is gonna get gross! (They changed both the coffee maker and microwave to be unpowered, probably because the building is meant to be without power, but there’s still coffee in the pot, which is gonna grow a whole ecosystem if they leave it like that).

Personally, I prefer to think that someone is secretly still using this space, a lone human survivor maybe who at least gets to enjoy the stockpiles of coffee originally meant for a whole organization, thanks to some Jerry rigged solar panels or something. And every time a whole Dilo walks into the building, he has to scurry back up into the drop ceiling.

Honestly, though, Water build on Cera was super successful, I think my next approach for the first life mutations on Cera are gonna be Congenital/Hydrodynamic/Wader/Advanced Digestion

Hammered so many Omnis and smoked a lot of young adult Allos. The biggest Allo I killed was 68% when I was a Prime Cera at 85% (I know the Allos growth cause the server I played on has a killfeed that lists the creatures growth percentage when they die)

Making use of Swamp as a safe zone and weaving in and out of Deltas Riverways to pick fights and avoid threats worked out so well

Rocks are not that plentiful. It makes it slightly strategic terrain wise to counter pouncers by being aware of rocks nearby.
But bringing the pounce collision back to trees just makes it brainless, cause there's a huge number of trees everywhere now, nobody even needs to think, just walk a few inches and you're safe from all pouncers

Little mold islands show up quick, and they’ll form a Nausicaa garden of fungi over the whole surface if you let it. I play Dryo a lot and usually do Hydrodynamic specifically to give myself an extra escape method near rivers. Allo and Rex can’t even dream of catching up, but Cera is a FAST swimmer. Better to run circles around it on land, where Dryo can actually turn on a dime and give you some change.

In a literal respect of emulating what would actually be happening i dont disagree, but unless there is an actual penalty/debuff applied to Deino, I dont see why Cera should be punished by uselessly burning a resource just for engaging something, especially thats on its own diet list which would theoretically be encouraging it to take plausible engagements no less, mechanically it just isn't as sound.

Like it’s pretty simple for people to see it’s an unintentional value swap. The natural pounce takes less stamina but does more bleed (not damage) while the bleed pounce takes more stamina but neutral damage & bleed (which is what the neutral pounce is supposed to do)

The nutrients were bugged for months before people realized it was. Iirc when we had the full any nutrient slot thing, taking all 3 nutrients actually increased your stamina usage while running rather than decreasing
